On a second thought, DO NOT come home early. Take your time! It's definitely fine!!

The dessert they served me here reminded me of you!
But now I do feel bad about eating it.

I wouldn't say so if I didn't mean it. I like being able to.
no subject
I really do!
I reread them many times!
[...
How to unsend the last one
But moving on,]
I suppose I'm just still getting used to it? I've never sent messages to someone as often I do to you. It's not a bother, is it?
no subject
Then I'm glad.
[ Cute. ]
Not with Jirou or Uraraka or the others. . .? [ Maybe he's a little surprised. Don't girls text all the time? ] It's the same for me, though.
[ . . . However, Midoriya has rambled to him via text in the past. It's an interesting thing. ]
You're not a bother at all. I like talking this way.
no subject
[/proudsparkles Can you feel it through the screen?]
It did quickly strayed away from its intended purpose, though. I suppose gossip is more entertaining than my homework reminders...
[Not to mention all the teasing she got when they started dating.]
no subject
[ Yes. He absolutely can. ]
Gossip is Ashido's thing, isn't it?
[ There's a bit of amusement on his end. ]
no subject
I thought so, too! But once she gets it started, it feels like everyone's pulled in on it. She says the guys probably talk about us too anyway, so it's justified should we do the same.
[There's probably an unasked 'do they really?' question in there.]
no subject
[ Considering even a couple of their teachers have noticed, even commented, then yes. Probably in some ways. ]
no subject
At least I believe so? I don't think we're doing anything that particularly stands out...
[Any show of affection is often reserved for when there aren't anyone around, after all. And nope, the fact that they're both recommended students doesn't seem important to note to her.]
no subject
[ The recommended student thing similarly isn't something he really pays attention to. It shouldn't matter, anyway. ]
It's nice that they support us. [ More or less!! ] . . . Although, even if they didn't, that wouldn't stop me from wanting to be with you.
no subject
Is... Is saying 'I love you' in text weird? It's weird, right? Is it? What if he thinks she's clingy? What if he feels smothered? Wait, what if he thinks it's weird because she didn't reply right away? Ahh...!]
I feel the same way! I'm very happy to be by your side not just as a friend, but as a girlfriend! I'll do my best, so please take care of me from now on!
[Nailed it.]
no subject
Any "I love you's" are equally felt. Actually saying them, however, isn't entirely something that Shouto knows how to do yet. (Even though it's plain and simple.) Particularly via texting. Still, he knows he would want to reply with the same.
(Neither of them should think too hard on it.) ]
Not just from now on, but I have been, before that. And I'll continue to.
[ After a measure of time: ]
I wonder if we would be allowed to go off campus some time so we could go out to eat.
[ They've done so a couple of times already. It wouldn't be too much to request again, would it. . .? ]
no subject
It should be possible, so long as we ask permission beforehand and be back before curfew. We never did get in trouble for the other times.
Hmm. Perhaps you can also start wondering where you'd like us to go?
no subject
That's true.
[ Although that's a good question. At least he's improved quite a lot from when they first began seeing one another, where - if Momo didn't firmly put her foot down - Shouto (very seriously) would near always choose somewhere that served cold soba.
Let's see. . . ]
I wouldn't mind something new, actually.
no subject
[Their usual cold soba places are very much appreciated, though, rest assured.]
Perhaps a place both of us haven't been to before, or an activity that we don't have much prior idea about.
[This potential date may just turn into a field trip...?]
no subject
Oh, um.
[ At one point in his life basically anything could fill this space. ]
I read about this place where you go and pick out a piece of pottery or something to paint.
[ Consider these to be separate replies as he thinks. ]
Something active? I've never been bowling before, or miniature golf. . .
Maybe a class of some kind, like cooking.
[ A different cat café could be fun, knowing them. ]
. . . Do you have any ideas?
no subject
Such excellent ideas! We should do all of them!
[That's... probably a tall order, but she's quite in her overly excited mode to discern at the moment. Please pull her back to reality.]
I'd love to try painting, whether on pottery or canvas. It would be nice to work on something you can take home with you after, I think. Cooking will also be a good skill to learn! So we can make meals for everyone back in the dorms, too.
I've never tried miniature golf nor bowling before, but I can learn! If we're looking for an active sport, there's also polo but I'm not sure where we can get the horses...
Also! Have you been to an arcade before? I heard it's a place where you can train your skills and have fun at the same time!
[Who told her that, Sero or Kaminari probably.]
no subject
[ She's too cute. ]
That would be too much, but I agree. We can make a list to plan ahead.
[ Polo isn't even near to being on the same level of mini golf and bowling. The suggestion amuses him a bit. ]
An arcade? Yeah, I have a couple of times, with Midoriya and the others. It really is fun, and there's a lot of variety. I think you'd enjoy yourself.
no subject
Understood. I'll have a scheduled drawn up by tomorrow for you to review!
[...and also because planning appeals to Momo "I like everything organized" Yaoyorozu.]
Though I suppose if you've been to the arcade before, that might be easier for us to arrange? And it shouldn't tire us out as much as playing a sport, so perhaps we can relax after at a cat café...
[For while they want to try out new things, cat cafés transcend everything.]
no subject
. . . You don't need to treat it like a homework assignment or mission plan, you know.
[ Teasing, of course. ♥ ]
An arcade and cat café would be perfect.
no subject
[All's fair in love and teasing. ♥]
Would this weekend be acceptable, then? [Ah–] After you've visited your mother, of course. I can go ahead in the meantime. Scope out which arcades aren't so crowded?
[Momo isn't one to pry over the details of said visits (and it does feel... improper to do so, considering they've only just started going out), but she's can at least be mindful of his personal routines.]
no subject
I can't help it. My love for soba is a core part of who I am.
[ But is he just joking this time? Hm. ]
Sure. That would work. I'll take care of asking permission to go off-campus.
no subject
['Core part of who I am'... Why is she dating a
cutedork......]Oh? Careful now. With wording like that, I might get jealous.
[As for getting the permission, she's quite relieved he volunteered for it.]
I appreciate it. I get nervous asking for it sometimes.
no subject
Don't worry. That kind of love is different compared to how I feel about you.
[ He knows she's only playing, but. :) ]
You do?
no subject
[Pfft. Way to turn the tables. It's his win. For now.]
Oh? Then I'm relieved. I'm glad we can co-exist in your heart.
Well. They ask for the reason, don't they? And you have to say who you're with and what you're going to be doing outside... Isn't that a bit nerve-wracking?
[Of course she could just leave it at 'shopping' or something similarly vague, but she's too honest to not state the full reason.]
no subject
[ Their relationship is more or less known about by this point. Expressing physical affection isn't something that others are privy to, but there are other signs.
Either way, speaking with Aizawa is usually the least difficult. ]
I can do so after class tomorrow. :)
